The Transcend 300S 16GB (TS16GUSD300S-A) is a microSDHC memory card rated Class 10 and UHS-I U1, for smartphones, dashcams, security cameras, GPS units, Raspberry Pi-type boards and cameras that record photos and Full HD video. An SD adapter is included for full-size SD slots.

16GB SDHC is the size many devices, recorders and single-board computers specify; it is read by nearly every microSD slot, including older ones that cannot handle SDXC. U1 guarantees at least 10 MB/s sustained write.

Before you order: An SDHC card: it works in any device with an microSDHC or microSDXC slot. Very old devices that accept only standard SD cards (2 GB maximum) cannot read it.

Will it work in my device?
An SDHC card: it works in any device with an microSDHC or microSDXC slot. Very old devices that accept only standard SD cards (2 GB maximum) cannot read it.
Can I use it in a camera or laptop with a full-size SD slot?
Yes. Insert the card into the supplied microSD-to-SD adapter and use the adapter like a normal SD card. Keep the adapter lock switch in the unlocked position, otherwise the card is read-only.
Why does my computer show less than 16GB?
Card makers count 1 GB as 1,000,000,000 bytes while Windows and macOS count in binary units, and part of the card is reserved for formatting and wear management. A 16GB card therefore shows somewhat less — that is not a fault.
How fast is it in practice?
Transcend publishes only line maximums for the 300S series, not a figure per capacity, so we quote the guaranteed U1 minimum of 10 MB/s write. Reading is considerably faster in a UHS-I reader.
