TRENDnet TPE-TG240G 24-Port Gigabit PoE+ Switch, Unmanaged, 370W PoE Budget, 30W per Port, Metal 1U Rack-Mount

The TRENDnet TPE-TG240G is a 24-port Gigabit PoE+ switch in which every port delivers IEEE 802.3af/at power up to 30 W, from a 370 W total budget, in a metal 19-inch 1U chassis. It is an unmanaged, plug-and-play switch for IP camera systems, VoIP phone deployments and access-point rollouts where you want power and data on every port without configuring anything.

With 48 Gbps switching capacity it forwards traffic on all 24 Gigabit ports at full speed. There is nothing to set up: connect the devices and the switch detects and powers them automatically.

• 370 W across 24 ports: about 24 cameras or phones at up to 15 W each, or around 12 PoE+ access points at 30 W.
• Every port is PoE+, so you do not need to plan which device goes on which port.
• On the current hardware version (V4) a DIP switch enables long-range PoE (up to 250 m at 10 Mbps on ports 1–8) and port isolation — useful for distant cameras.
• Fan-cooled metal chassis, ready for a 19-inch rack.

• It has no management — no VLANs, QoS settings, SNMP or web interface.
• It has no SFP fibre uplinks; uplink over a Gigabit copper port.
• It does not support 802.3bt (60/90 W) devices.
• It does not power all 24 ports at 30 W simultaneously (that would need 720 W).
