TRENDnet TC-KP24SA — 24-Port Blank Angled Shielded Keystone Patch Panel, 19" 1U
24 keystone portsAngled layoutShielded (STP)19" · 1U
The TRENDnet TC-KP24SA is a 24-port blank keystone patch panel for 19-inch racks: a 1U shielded steel frame with angled ports that you fill with your own keystone jacks, built for installers and IT teams who want to mix jack types or run shielded Cat6A in a tidy rack.
Because the ports are angled, patch cords leave the panel already pointing left or right towards your vertical cable managers instead of sticking straight out. That keeps the front of a dense rack readable and reduces the bend on short patch leads. The panel is shielded and comes with a grounding wire, so a properly earthed shielded channel is possible when it is paired with shielded jacks and shielded cable.
Before you order: This panel is blank — keystone jacks are not included. TRENDnet lists its own jacks as compatible (TC-K06C6A Cat6A shielded is the intended match; also TC-K05LC, TC-K25C6, TC-K25C6BK). Other brands' keystones are not listed by TRENDnet, so send us the jack model and we will check it before you order.
What's in the Box
- TC-KP24SA 24-port blank angled shielded patch panel (19", 1U)
- Rack mounting hardware
- Grounding wire
- Port marking labels
- Quick Installation Guide
What It Means in Practice
- You buy the jacks separately, so you can choose Cat6A shielded for a new installation or mix in LC fibre keystones (TC-K05LC) where a run is fibre.
- The angled ports point cables sideways, so you need vertical cable management at the sides of the rack to take full advantage — in a rack with no side managers the benefit is smaller.
- Shielding only works end to end: shielded jacks, shielded cable, and the grounding wire connected to the rack earth point. With unshielded jacks the panel simply works as a normal keystone frame.
- Pre-numbered ports and the supplied labels make it easy to document which outlet goes where.
What Will Not Work
- It will not work on its own — there are no jacks inside; without keystones there is nothing to terminate onto.
- It does not give shielding benefit with UTP (unshielded) jacks or cable, or if the grounding wire is left unconnected.
- It is not a toolless pre-loaded Cat6 panel — if you want ports ready to punch down, choose a loaded patch panel instead.
- A rear cable management bar is not listed by TRENDnet; plan rear support (cable ties or a separate bar) for heavy bundles.
- It is not for 10-inch racks or wall boxes narrower than 19".
Key Features
Angled keystone layout
The 24 ports are angled so patch cords run towards the side cable managers, keeping the front of the rack clean in high-density installations.
Shielded steel housing
SPCC steel frame shields against EMI/RFI; a grounding wire is included for bonding the panel to the rack earth.
Mix and match jacks
Blank design accepts TRENDnet keystones, so copper Cat6A and LC fibre keystones can share one 1U panel.
Labelled and numbered
Pre-numbered ports and supplied marking labels help keep cabling documented.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use keystones from another brand?
TRENDnet only lists its own jacks as compatible. Many standard keystones fit similar panels, but we do not promise a fit that the manufacturer does not publish — tell us the jack model and we will check.
Do I need shielded jacks?
Only if you want a shielded channel. Unshielded jacks will clip in if they fit the keystone opening, but then the shielding and grounding do nothing for signal quality.
Why angled instead of straight?
Angled ports send cords directly towards side cable managers, so they do not bend sharply at the panel and the front of the rack stays accessible.
Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
Angled blank panels make sense when you are building a new rack with vertical cable managers and want a shielded Cat6A channel, or when you need to mix copper and fibre keystones in one rack unit. If your rack has no side managers, a straight panel is just as good. For the rest of the rack — blanking panels, cable managers, shelves — see our
rack accessories.
✓ Buy it if you are fitting shielded Cat6A keystones in a 19" rack with side cable management and want tidy, sideways cord routing.
✕ Skip it if you want a pre-loaded panel ready to punch down, or your installation is UTP only and straight panels are cheaper.
→ Also consider TRENDnet TC-K06C6A Cat6A shielded keystones to fill the panel, and a horizontal cable manager above or below it.
