The TRENDnet TEG-S762 is a 6-port multi-gig unmanaged switch that brings 10G and 2.5G speeds to a copper network — no fibre or SFP modules needed. Two 10GBase-T ports connect a NAS or server, while four 2.5GBase-T ports feed fast workstations, with 60 Gbps of switching in a silent, fanless chassis. Supplied under part number TEG-S762, it is plug-and-play and mounts on a desk or wall. Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus.
Compatibility — check before buying:
All ports are copper RJ45 — there is no SFP+ slot. To reach 10G you need 10G-capable devices and Cat 6a cabling (Cat 6 for short runs); 2.5G needs 2.5G devices and Cat 5e or better. Ports auto-negotiate down to 1G/100M. This is an unmanaged switch (no VLANs or configuration) and does not provide PoE.
