The TRENDnet TI-IG30 is an industrial Gigabit PoE+ injector that adds up to 30 W of IEEE 802.3at power to one Ethernet link, for a camera, access point or sensor where the switch has no PoE. It is built for control cabinets and harsh sites: a metal IP50 housing, DIN-rail and wall brackets, an operating range of −40 to 75 °C, 6 kV Ethernet surge protection and dual redundant 48–57 V DC inputs on a removable terminal block. It is backward compatible with 802.3af devices at 15.4 W. In practice it is the way to power one PoE device from the 48 V DC bus of an industrial panel.

Compatibility — check before buying:
DC input only — no mains plug and no power supply in the box. It needs a 48–57 V DC source; a 12 V or 24 V industrial supply will not run it. TRENDnet names the TI-S15052 (52 V DC, 150 W) as the matching DIN-rail supply, sold separately. 30 W is the ceiling: devices that need 802.3bt (60 W or more) need a bt injector. Tell us the device and the supply voltage in your panel and we check the combination.
