The TRENDnet TK-1603R is a 16-port rackmount USB KVM switch that lets one VGA monitor, keyboard and mouse control up to 16 USB computers or servers at resolutions up to 2048 x 1536. It installs in a 19" rack (1U, rack-mount kit included) and targets server rooms and IT labs.
Ports are selected by front-panel buttons or keyboard hotkeys, and auto-scan cycles through the connected systems; an LED port display and beep confirmation show the active port. The console accepts USB or PS/2 keyboard and mouse, and computers can be hot-plugged.
Compatibility note: KVM cables are not included: each computer needs a TRENDnet TK-CU06, TK-CU10 or TK-CU15 USB/VGA KVM cable (1.8, 3 or 4.5 m). Computers connect via USB only (no PS/2 on the PC side), and there is no on-screen display (OSD).
