TRENDnet TK-232DV 2-Port Dual-Monitor DVI KVM Switch

Dual monitor · DVI-I2 computers1920 x 1200 digitalAudio + mic · USB hub

The TRENDnet TK-232DV is a 2-port dual-monitor DVI KVM switch that lets two computers share two DVI displays, a USB keyboard and mouse, speakers and a microphone from one desk. It supports up to 1920 x 1200 on digital DVI (2048 x 1536 analog), and part number TK-232DV adds a 2-port USB 2.0 hub plus NDAA/TAA compliance for government and public-sector buyers.

Compatibility note: KVM cables are not included. Each computer needs two DVI cables, a USB A-to-B cable and audio leads (TRENDnet TK-CD06 / CD10 / CD15 kits). Each computer must have two DVI (or adapted) outputs to use both screens.

Key Features

Two screens per computer
Dual DVI-I console outputs switch both monitors together, so an extended desktop moves between computers in one step.

True Transparent USB emulation
Keyboard and mouse stay connected to both computers for fast switching, with active sync replication and no drivers to install.

Built for regulated buyers
NDAA and TAA compliance, a 2-port USB 2.0 hub and front-panel button or hotkey switching make it a fit for public-sector and corporate desks.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use the TK-232DV with HDMI or DisplayPort computers?
Yes, with passive adapters or HDMI-to-DVI cables, since DVI-D and HDMI share the same digital signal. DisplayPort outputs need DP-to-DVI adapters. Audio over HDMI is not carried; use the 3.5 mm speaker ports instead.
Does the TK-232DV support 4K or 1440p monitors?
No. TRENDnet rates it at 1920 x 1200 on digital DVI. For 4K screens pick a DisplayPort or HDMI 2.0 KVM switch.
Can I run only one monitor on the TK-232DV?
Yes. Connect one DVI output per computer and leave the second console port empty; the switch still passes keyboard, mouse, audio and the USB hub.
Singular Expert Insight
The TK-232DV suits established two-screen office workstations that still use DVI or Full HD monitors, especially where TAA compliance is a purchasing rule. Browse our KVM switch range if your screens are 1440p or 4K, because this unit tops out at 1920 x 1200.
✓ Buy it if two computers must share a pair of Full HD or 1920 x 1200 DVI monitors.
✕ Skip it if your monitors are above 1920 x 1200 or you want cables in the box.
→ Also consider the TRENDnet TK-241DP for single 4K DisplayPort screens, or the DIGITUS DS-12860 for dual HDMI.
