The TRENDnet TPE-117GI is a single-port Gigabit PoE++ injector that delivers up to 60 W of IEEE 802.3bt power over one Ethernet cable. It powers high-draw devices — PTZ cameras, Wi-Fi 6/7 access points, thin clients, LED lighting — from a normal switch port that has no PoE, and it is backward compatible with 802.3af (15.4 W) and 802.3at (30 W) devices. It runs from a mains power cord, reaches up to 100 m and can be wall mounted. In practice it is the quickest way to add one high-power PoE port next to an existing switch.

Compatibility — check before buying:
60 W is the limit. A device that needs 90–95 W (4-pair 802.3bt Type 4) needs the TRENDnet TPE-119GI. Full 60 W needs an 802.3bt device and a 4-pair Cat5e or better cable. TRENDnet does not publish the AC input range or a colour for this version. Tell us your device and its power class and we pick the right injector.
