4-Port Gigabit PoE+ with 200m Long-Range Mode
4× GbE PoE+ + 1 Uplink32W Budget200m Mode802.3af/atFanless Metal
The TRENDnet TPE-LG50 is a compact 5-port Gigabit switch that powers your PoE devices and can push them further than any normal switch. Four Gigabit PoE+ ports deliver data and power over one cable to cameras, access points and phones (sharing a 32W budget), while a fifth Gigabit port uplinks to your router or NAS. Flip the Long-Range DIP switch and PoE+ reaches up to 200m — double the usual 100m limit — ideal for distant cameras. It's fanless, housed in rugged metal, and completely plug-and-play.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Powers standard 802.3af/at (PoE/PoE+) devices — cameras, access points, phones — up to 30W per port and 32W total. Long-Range mode (DIP switch) extends reach to 200m but caps that link at 10Mbps, so it's best for cameras and sensors, not high-bandwidth devices. Use the 5th port to uplink.
Best For
✓Powering a camera or AP up to 200m away
✓Small PoE setups needing extra cable reach
✓Adding PoE without separate injectors
✓A silent, wall-mountable metal switch
Key Features
4× Gigabit PoE+ (32W Budget)
Four Gigabit 802.3af/at ports deliver data and power over one cable, up to 30W per port and 32W total, for cameras, access points and phones.
200m Long-Range Mode
A DIP switch extends PoE+ transmission to 200m (at 10Mbps) — double the standard 100m limit — perfect for cameras at the far end of a long cable run.
DIP-Switch VLAN & QoS
Beyond plug-and-play, DIP switches let you enable simple port VLAN isolation and QoS for better security and smoother traffic, with no web interface needed.
Rugged Fanless Metal
A sturdy metal case with a fanless design runs completely silent and stays cool, in a compact 121 × 75 × 26 mm body that wall-mounts easily.

Singular Expert Insight
The TPE-LG50's party trick is the 200m Long-Range mode — if you've got a camera stuck just beyond the 100m Ethernet limit, this saves you an extra switch or extender, as long as you can live with 10Mbps on that link (plenty for most single cameras). For everyday runs it's a solid compact PoE+ switch; just mind the modest 32W budget with several high-draw devices, where a larger PoE switch fits better. Browse the full networking range to match it with the right cameras, APs and cabling.
