Trust BigFoot — Gel Mouse Pad with Wrist Support, Black
Gel filledMicrofibre topAnti-skid base167 g
The Trust BigFoot is the shaped gel pad that has been on office desks for years, and the shape is the point: it is not a rectangle but a custom outline with the wrist support moulded into the front, measuring 205 x 236 x 16 mm and weighing 167 g. The wrist section is gel filled, the top is soft microfibre, and the underside is anti-skid. Trust lists it for both laser and optical mice. It is a size S pad by Trust’s own classification, designed for normal desktop mousing rather than gaming, and this one is black.
Compatibility — check before buying:
This is a combined pad and rest, so it replaces the pad you have now. The footprint is 205 mm wide by 236 mm deep — Trust classes it as size S, and that is honest: it is an office pad, not a gaming mat, and it is too small for low-sensitivity sweeps. The gel section stands 16 mm proud, which is the number to check against your desk: a rest helps when your forearm is level with the desktop and can hurt when your elbows sit well below it. Trust does not describe this as a gaming pad and publishes no surface friction rating, so we quote none. One documentation quirk worth knowing about: Trust’s own datasheet for the red version is titled Turquoise while the product page, the German page and the support index all say red — it is a labelling slip in the datasheet, not a second product.
Best For
✓ Office desks where the wrist aches after long sessions
✓ Anyone who prefers gel to firm foam
✓ Users who want pad and rest as one piece
✓ Desks with limited depth
✓ Laser and optical mice
✓ Replacing a flattened foam rest
Key Features
Gel where the wrist lands
The support section is gel filled, so it takes the shape of the wrist and springs back instead of compressing permanently the way foam eventually does.
A soft microfibre top
The surface is soft microfibre rather than hard plastic, which is easier on the side of the hand during long spells of mousing.
Shaped, not rectangular
The custom outline puts the support exactly where the wrist rests, without wasting desk depth on a rectangle.
It does not skid
An anti-skid bottom keeps the pad still while the mouse moves, which matters more on a shaped pad than on a large flat mat.

Singular Expert Insight
The shaped outline is what makes this one work: support exactly where the wrist lands, without a rectangle eating your desk depth. Gel over microfibre stays comfortable longer than a bare gel pad. If you need a gaming surface instead, buy a large cloth mat. See our mouse pads and wrist rests and our wired mice.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You want a compact, shaped gel pad with the wrist support built in, in black, for everyday office mousing.
Skip it if
You need a large gaming area, you prefer firm foam, or your desk already sits too high for your elbows.
Also consider
The other BigFoot colour, or a Fellowes memory-foam pad if you want firmer support and a 5-year manufacturer term.
