TSC DA210 4-inch Direct Thermal Desktop Label Printer
Compact 4-inch desktop label printer for shipping, retail tags, product marking and small-office labels — 203 dpi, 152 mm/sec, USB, multi-language TSPL/EPL/ZPL.

Important — Label printer, not receipt printer: The TSC DA210 prints adhesive labels, tags and shipping labels — not till receipts. If you need a customer-facing POS receipt printer, look at Citizen, Bixolon or Epson receipt printers instead.
The TSC DA210 (99-158A001-0002) is a 4-inch direct thermal desktop label printer designed for everyday labeling — shipping and courier labels (incl. 4 × 6"), retail product tags and barcodes, pharmacy slips and small-office address labels. It prints at 203 dpi at up to 6 ips (152 mm/sec) on rolls up to 127 mm (5") outside diameter via the printer's large center-biased media bay and user-friendly double-wall clamshell design. The 60-watt power supply keeps print quality consistent at top speed, and TSPL-EZ + EPL + ZPL/II + DPL emulations let it drop into virtually any existing labeling workflow — including ZebraDesigner, BarTender and most ERP shipping integrations.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can this printer print POS receipts?
No — the DA210 is a label printer for adhesive labels and tags. For till receipts use a thermal POS printer like the Citizen CT-S310II, Bixolon SRP-Q302K or Epson TM-T20III instead.
Does it work with Amazon / eBay / DPD shipping labels?
Yes — TSPL-EZ + EPL + ZPL emulations make it compatible with most carrier label software, and the 4 × 6" standard shipping label size sits within the 108 mm print width.
Does it need ribbons?
No — direct thermal printing uses heat-sensitive labels only, no ribbon required. The trade-off is shorter label longevity compared with thermal transfer (months vs years).
Is it ZPL compatible with my Zebra label templates?
Yes — the DA210 emulates ZPL and ZPL II, so existing Zebra ZPL templates and ZebraDesigner files print directly without rewriting.
Singular Expert Insight
Choose the DA210 if you need a budget-friendly 4-inch desktop direct-thermal label printer for shipping, retail tags or pharmacy labels — ZPL/EPL emulation makes it a drop-in alternative to Zebra ZD220/ZD420. If you need sharper 300 dpi for very small text or fine barcodes, step up to the DA220. If your labels need to last for years on cold-stored items or outdoor use, you'll want a thermal transfer printer (with ribbons) instead — direct thermal labels fade in heat and sunlight.
