This is the bag version of Tucano's Gommo, not the backpack. Same rubberised polyurethane shell, same recycled composition, same deliberate simplicity - one large compartment with the laptop pocket inside it and a roomy front pocket for everything else - but carried by hand or on an adjustable, removable shoulder strap rather than on your back. At 105 mm deep it is the slimmer of the two.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Tucano rates the Gommo Bag for 15.6" laptops and for the 16" MacBook Pro of 2021 to 2023. Worth noting: the Gommo Backpack lists the 16" MacBook Pro from 2019 to 2024, so the bag's stated MacBook window is narrower - if you have a 2019 or 2020 machine, measure before ordering. Tucano publishes no separate tablet pocket, no weight and no capacity in litres for this model, and we have left those rows blank rather than repeat retailer estimates.

The thing to be careful about with this product is the part number. BGOM15 and BKGOM15 differ by one letter and are different bags - this one is the shoulder bag, and it does not have the backpack's trolley strap or its wider MacBook compatibility window. Beyond that, two claims in circulation are not Tucano's: a US retailer describes the bag as rainproof and able to handle rain and snow, and another adds a "4.5-inch built-in expansion" and a strap length figure. None of that appears in Tucano's own data, which publishes no water-resistance claim, no weight, no capacity and no expansion. What Tucano does publish, and unusually clearly, is the material composition - 65 percent polyurethane with 35 percent recycled PET, over a 100 percent recycled PET lining.

Skip it if you need water resistance: Tucano publishes no such claim, and a US retailer describing this bag as "rainproof" and able to withstand rain and snow is going well beyond anything the manufacturer states. And skip it if you want lockable zips, an RFID pocket, a bottle pocket or a USB port, none of which this bag has.
