Tucano Alunno — Ultra-Protective Folio for iPad 10th Gen & iPad A16
Rugged folioiPad 10th gen / A16MIL-STD-810Black
The Tucano Alunno IPD1022AL-BK is an ultra-protective folio case for the Apple iPad 10.9" 10th generation (2022) and iPad A16 11" (2025), certified to MIL-STD-810 for drops up to 1.2 m.
It is designed for students and school iPad programmes, but works just as well for anyone whose iPad travels in a bag every day: a shock-absorbing TPU frame around a clear polycarbonate back, a cover that folds into a stand, a magnetic closure and an internal slot for the pen.
Before you order: Fits iPad 10th gen 10.9" (2022) and iPad A16 11" (2025) only. It does not fit the older iPad 10.2" (7th–9th gen), iPad Air or iPad Pro — Tucano makes separate Alunno versions for those.
What's in the Box
- 1 × Tucano Alunno ultra-protective folio case (IPD1022AL-BK), black
- No tablet, keyboard or pen included
What It Means in Practice
- The TPU edge and certified drop protection cover the typical classroom accident: a tablet slipping off a desk or out of a backpack.
- The clear back shows the iPad (or a school asset label) while protecting it from scratches.
- The front cover protects the screen in the bag and folds into a stand for typing, videos or reading.
- The magnetic closure keeps the cover shut so it does not flap open in a bag.
- An internal pen slot keeps the stylus with the iPad.
What Will Not Work
- It will not fit iPad 10.2" (7th, 8th, 9th gen), iPad Air or iPad Pro.
- There is no keyboard; it is a folio cover only.
- No pen is included.
- It is not waterproof.

Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
Alunno is the case we recommend for school and family iPads: certified drop protection without the weight of an industrial case, plus a cover that protects the screen in the bag. Check the iPad generation carefully — 10th gen and A16 look different from the older 10.2" iPad. See the full tablet accessories range for other cases, stands and styluses.
✓ Buy it if you need a drop-certified folio for an iPad 10th gen or iPad A16, especially for students.
✕ Skip it if you have an iPad 10.2", Air or Pro, or need a keyboard case.
→ Also consider the Tucano Educo for the same iPads if you prefer a different style of ultra-protective folio.
