Ubiquiti UniFi Access G2 Reader Pro — Touchscreen NFC Reader and Intercom
NFC, PIN & QR4.7″ touchscreen2 MP intercom cameraIP55 PoE
The Ubiquiti UniFi Access G2 Reader Pro (UA-G2-Pro-Black) is a second-generation door reader and video intercom in black for the UniFi Access system. A 4.7″ touchscreen, a 2 MP camera and two-way audio let visitors call inside, while staff open the door with an NFC card or key fob, a PIN, a QR code or the UniFi app. It is powered by one PoE cable, rated IP55 for indoor and outdoor mounting, and fits a standard gang box. In practice it turns an office or building entrance into a managed, logged door with a doorbell and camera built in.
Compatibility — check before buying:
It is a reader, not a complete door system. It needs a UniFi console running the UniFi Access application and a UniFi Access hub (for example the Door Hub) that drives the electric lock; reader and hub must sit on the same Layer-2 network. The lock and the console are separate purchases. It reads 13.56 MHz cards only (MIFARE Classic and DESFire, ISO 14443/15693, FeliCa); Ubiquiti lists no 125 kHz support, so old EM or HID Prox cards will not work. No Apple or Google Wallet (Touch Pass) on the G2 Reader Pro — that needs the G3 Reader Pro. Our listing is the black version; the white one is ordered as UA-G2-Pro. Tell us your door, lock and cards and we plan the full set.

Singular Expert Insight
We recommend the G2 Reader Pro for main entrances where you want a reader, doorbell and camera in one slim unit. If staff should open with Apple or Google Wallet, step up to the G3 Reader Pro. Plan PoE from one of our PoE switches or from the Door Hub. See our smart home and access range for hubs, locks and kits.
