Before you buy: The UCG-Max has no built-in WiFi — pair it with UniFi access points for wireless coverage. To record cameras with UniFi Protect it needs an NVMe SSD (selectable, up to 2 TB); the base model ships without a drive unless a storage version is ordered. It is powered by the included USB-C adapter (5V/5A). All five RJ45 ports are 2.5 GbE; one is the default WAN.
