The Ubiquiti UniFi Access Magnetic Lock 540 kg (UA-Lock-Magnetic-540kg) is an electromagnetic lock that holds a door closed with 540 kg of force until a UniFi Access reader or hub releases it. It runs on 12 V DC at 500 mA, so it can be powered directly from the powered lock relay of a UniFi Door Hub, and a built-in door position sensor reports whether the door is open or closed. L and Z brackets suit inward and outward opening doors. In practice it is the lock you pair with UniFi readers on glass-free office, shop and server-room doors.

Compatibility — check before buying:
It is fail-safe: it releases when power is lost, which suits escape routes but not rooms that must stay locked during a power cut — plan a UPS if needed. The 540 kg version is for wood or metal doors; for glass doors Ubiquiti points to the 270 kg version. Outward-opening doors need the L bracket (door under 42 mm thick), inward-opening doors the L and Z brackets. It needs a UniFi Access hub to control it. Ubiquiti does not publish the box contents — ask us and we confirm the brackets with the order.
