TOUGHCable Pro Cat5e Outdoor (305m)
Cat5e ShieldedOutdoor-Rated305m Spool
The Ubiquiti TOUGHCable Pro is a 305m spool of carrier-class outdoor Cat5e cable, built with 24AWG copper pairs, S/UTP foil shielding and an integrated ESD drain wire to help protect connected equipment from static discharge and lightning-induced surges. The weatherproof PE jacket is designed to withstand direct outdoor exposure across a full range of weather conditions, making it a reliable choice for wireless bridge links, outdoor PoE camera runs and building-to-building connections. Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus.
Compatibility note: being a shielded (S/UTP) cable, it must be properly grounded at one end via the drain wire for the ESD protection to be effective — use shielded RJ45 connectors and grounded equipment for full protection against static and surge damage.
Best For
✓ Outdoor PoE camera or access point runs
✓ Building-to-building Ethernet links
✓ Wireless bridge and antenna installations
✓ Bulk cable stock for installers/integrators
✓ Areas prone to static discharge or nearby lightning
✓ Long-distance Gigabit Ethernet outdoor runs

Singular Expert Insight
Ground the shield at one end only when terminating this cable — grounding both ends can create a ground loop that reduces the ESD protection's effectiveness.
Buyer's Guide
Buy it if: you are running outdoor Ethernet to cameras, APs or bridges and need surge/ESD protection.
Skip it if: you only need indoor patch cables — standard indoor Cat5e/6 is more cost-effective.
Also consider: UISP-Cable-Pro for smaller-quantity outdoor cable needs.
