The Ubiquiti Network Video Recorder G2 Pro (UNVR-G2-Pro) is an eight-bay 2U UniFi Protect recorder with built-in AI event analytics and HDMI Viewport output. It supports up to 100 HD, 70 2K or 50 4K managed cameras, while simultaneous Viewport viewing is limited to 16 4K cameras. It is supplied without drives, so storage must be added separately.
Best For: For installations needing a rack-mount UniFi Protect recorder with up to eight drives, HDMI Viewport output and support for up to 50 managed 4K cameras. Add compatible storage drives and network connections separately as needed.
Before you order: This is a diskless recorder: HDDs/SSDs, cameras, display, SFP+ module and external UniFi Power Backup are not included. Functional power redundancy requires a separately supplied compatible UniFi Power Backup; the USP-RPS input is not a second included PSU or a UPS. Check that your chosen drives, network cabling and compatible transceiver or DAC meet your installation needs. Actual camera capacity depends on resolution, bitrate, workload and storage.
