Designed for terminating TOUGHCable Pro and TOUGHCable Carrier outdoor Ethernet cable, these connectors earth the cable shield to protect radios and switches from ESD and surge damage on exposed outdoor runs — and they terminate in the field without soldering. Compatibility & setup: TC-GND connectors are made for Ubiquiti TOUGHCable Pro and TOUGHCable Carrier shielded outdoor cable; grounding only works when the shield/drain wire is properly terminated and the connector is earthed at the entry point.
