UniFi LTE Backup Pro

LTE Cat 42x GbEPoE

The Ubiquiti UniFi LTE Backup Pro (U-LTE-Backup Pro) is an LTE Category 4 cellular failover gateway that keeps a UniFi network online when the primary WAN drops, part number U-LTE-Backup Pro, aimed at businesses that cannot tolerate downtime. Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus.

Before you buy: unlike the standard UniFi LTE Backup, the Pro model does not include a SIM or data plan - you must supply your own AT&T (US) data-only nano-SIM. It integrates with UniFi Network 7.2.85 or later for automatic WAN failover.

Key Features

Automatic WAN Failover
Detects a primary internet outage and switches traffic to LTE automatically via UniFi Network.

Up to 150 Mbps download and 50 Mbps upload over AT&T LTE bands B2/B4/B5/B12/B14/B66.

Flexible Power and Mounting
Powered by PoE or a 48V adapter, with a PoE passthrough output and wall or stand mounting.

FAQ

Does the LTE Backup Pro include a SIM card?
No. Unlike the standard UniFi LTE Backup, the Pro model requires you to supply your own AT&T data-only nano-SIM.
Is the LTE Backup Pro suitable for use outside the US?
It operates on the AT&T network and is intended for US-only deployments; coverage and bands outside the US are not supported.
What do I need before buying the LTE Backup Pro?
A UniFi Network console running version 7.2.85 or later, a compatible AT&T nano-SIM, and a PoE source or 48V adapter.
Singular Expert Insight
Choose the Backup Pro over the standard LTE Backup if you already have a business AT&T data SIM or need more control over the data plan; otherwise the standard model bundled SIM is simpler to deploy. Pair it with a UniFi router or gateway for automatic failover.

Buyer Guide

Buy it if
You need reliable cellular WAN failover on AT&T and already have or can source a data-only SIM.
Skip it if
You are outside the US or want a plug-and-play SIM included - choose the standard LTE Backup instead.
Also consider
Standard UniFi LTE Backup for a bundled SIM and data plan.
