The Ubiquiti G6 Pro Turret White (UVC-G6-Pro-Turret-W) is a complete turret IP camera for a UniFi Protect installation. It combines 8MP 4K video at up to 30 FPS, 2.36x optical zoom, adaptive IR illumination and smart detections. A compatible UniFi Protect host, network, PoE+ power source and recording storage are required separately or must already be available.

Before you order: This is not a motorised PTZ camera: its 360° pan, 75° tilt and 360° rotation are manual aiming adjustments. The 40 m figure is IR illumination, not a guaranteed face or licence plate recognition distance. A compatible UniFi Protect host, network, PoE+ source and recording storage are required and are not included; the 30 cm attached pigtail is not a full-length network patch cable. The microSD slot is present, but no card or card capacity is included or guaranteed. Optional arm, pendant and junction-box mounts are not included.

What It Means in Practice
- Plan for a compatible UniFi Protect host, network connection, PoE+ supply rated for the camera's requirements, and recording storage; these can be existing compatible equipment but are not in this camera package.
- The attached 30 cm RJ45 lead connects at the camera; plan separate network cabling for the run to your network equipment. The supplied sealing housing and inserts are for the specified cable diameters and routing.
- The included ring and hardware support ceiling or wall mounting. Optional arm, pendant and junction-box mounts are separate accessories.
- Use the manual three-axis adjustment to aim the camera during installation. Optical zoom changes the lens view; it does not provide motorised PTZ .
What Will Not Work
- A compatible UniFi Protect host, network and PoE+ power source are required; none is included.
- Recording storage must be provided through the Protect installation or separately selected. A microSD card is not included, and the slot does not establish a guaranteed card capacity, standalone recording or automatic failover.
- The attached RJ45 cable is a 30 cm captive pigtail, not a full-length network patch cable; additional network cabling is separate.
- The camera is not motorised PTZ and does not claim motorised patrol, automatic tracking or panoramic 360° video.
