The Ultron save-E T8 LED tube (138115) is a 600 mm G13 lamp that replaces an 18 W T8 fluorescent tube, giving 900 lumens of 4000K neutral white light from 10 W — for offices, corridors, stores, garages and workshops.
Ultron rates it for 25,000 hours and 15,000 switching cycles, with a 120° beam angle. The tube measures 29 × 32.5 × 600 mm, so it takes the place of a standard 60 cm (2 ft) T8 lamp.
Before you order: Ultron does not publish which ballasts or starters this tube works with. LED T8 retrofit tubes differ: some run on the existing magnetic ballast with the starter swapped, others need the ballast bypassed, and electronic ballasts are a separate case. Send us a photo of your fitting and its ballast label and we will check it before you order.

What It Means in Practice
- 900 lm from 10 W replaces an 18 W, 60 cm fluorescent tube at a little over half the power.
- 4000K neutral white is the standard tone for offices, shops and workspaces — close to the cool-white fluorescent tubes most fittings already have.
- The 120° beam directs light downwards instead of all around, so more of it reaches the desk or floor.
- 25,000 hours is close to 10 years at 10 hours a day, five days a week — far fewer tube changes in ceiling fittings.
- It is for switched circuits only; it is not dimmable.
What Will Not Work
- It fits only 600 mm (2 ft) T8 fittings with G13 pins — not 1200 mm or 1500 mm fittings, T5 (G5) fittings or compact PL lamps.
- It is not dimmable.
- It is not a complete light fitting — it needs an existing T8 batten or panel fitting to go into.
