Before you buy: The U7 Pro Max is powered by PoE+ (802.3at) and draws up to 25W — use a PoE+ switch or injector (not included). Its single 1/2.5 GbE RJ45 port reaches full multi-gig speed only on a 2.5GbE (or faster) switch port; on a 1G port throughput is capped at 1 Gbps. The 6 GHz band is usable only by WiFi 6E/7 client devices. Adoption requires the UniFi Network application (version 8.2.93 or later).
