The U7 Pro Max is powered by PoE+ (802.3at) - a UniFi PoE+ switch supplies this directly, or a PoE+ injector can be added (injector not included). Its single 1/2.5GbE uplink auto-negotiates to 2.5 Gbps; note it is a 2.5G port, not 10G, so for a 10GbE uplink choose the U7 Pro XG models. It is a full tri-band unit; 6 GHz and top Wi-Fi 7 speeds require Wi-Fi 7 clients, while older devices connect on 2.4/5 GHz. Management is through a UniFi Network controller (Cloud Gateway, Cloud Key or hosted) running version 8.2.93 or later, so it fits an existing or planned UniFi network.Best For
