The StarTech UNIDOCKU33 is a universal USB 3.0 hard drive docking station that connects both SATA and IDE (PATA) 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch hard drives and SSDs to any computer over a single USB port. Identified by part number UNIDOCKU33, it can host an IDE and a SATA drive at the same time, making it ideal for data recovery, backups, drive testing and migrating files from older IDE disks. With UASP support it reaches faster transfer speeds than standard USB 3.0, and bare drives simply slot in — no enclosure or tools needed. Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus.
Compatibility note
Works with 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch SATA (III/II/I) and IDE/PATA hard drives and SSDs, tested up to 6TB on 3.5-inch and 2TB on 2.5-inch drives. It connects to the host over USB 3.0 (backward compatible with USB 2.0). UASP performance requires a UASP-capable USB 3.0 host and operating system. 3.5-inch IDE drives are powered by the dock; the included power adapter is required for 3.5-inch drives.
