Verbatim CD-RW 12x — 10 × 700 MB, 12x
10 discs700 MBUp to 12xJewel Case
The Verbatim CD-RW 12x is a 10-pack of rewritable CD-RW discs (700 MB, up to 12x) supplied each in its own standard jewel case — for data you want to write, erase and write again — test burns, rotating backups and temporary transfers.
The surface is scratch-resistant, and Verbatim's SERL technology is described as allowing continual rewrites without loss of quality or sound degradation.
Because every disc ships in its own case, this pack suits hand-outs: burn, label and give a disc to a client, accountant or colleague without buying cases separately.
What's in the Box
- 10 × Verbatim rewritable CD-RW discs, 700 MB, supplied each in its own standard jewel case
- Each case protects its disc individually, so discs can be handed out or posted one by one
- No burning software is included — Windows, macOS and most Linux desktops can burn discs with their built-in tools or any burning application
What It Means in Practice
- Write, erase and reuse: the same disc can be wiped (quick or full erase) and burned again — handy for weekly transfers, test burns or a rotating backup
- Rewritable discs need a CD-RW-capable writer; virtually every CD/DVD writer made in the last two decades can write CD-RW
- Up to 12x is the maximum write speed; your drive sets the actual speed and may write CD-RW more slowly than CD-R
- Label the discs with a soft-tip CD/DVD marker — ballpoint pens and solvent markers can damage the layer under the label
What Will Not Work
- Discs are not usable without an optical drive — most current laptops have none, so you will need an external USB CD/DVD writer
- Some older CD audio players and car stereos do not read CD-RW discs — for music in older players a CD-R is the safer choice
- A CD holds 700 MB — for larger files or full backups use DVD, Blu-ray, a USB flash drive or an external drive
- The label side is not inkjet-printable — do not run these discs through a disc printer; choose a printable version instead

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I erase a CD-RW?
Use the erase function of your burning software or operating system. A quick erase clears the table of contents in seconds; a full erase rewrites the whole disc and takes longer but leaves it clean.
Will the burned disc play in my car?
Yes, if you burn it as an Audio CD (CD-DA) and finalise it. A disc of MP3 files plays only on players that list MP3 support.
Will other computers read a CD-RW?
Most current CD, DVD and Blu-ray drives read CD-RW. Very old CD-ROM drives and some audio players may not, so use CD-R for discs that leave the office.
Can I print on these discs?
No — the label side is not designed for inkjet printing. Write on it with a soft-tip CD/DVD marker, or choose a printable version.
How should I store burned discs?
Upright in their cases, away from sunlight, heat and humidity, and handled by the edges. Keep important data on a second copy as well.
