Verbatim Store ’n’ Click 32 GB — It Clicks Out, It Clicks Back
32 GB80 MB/s read / 25 MB/s writeClick-locking slider9 g
The Verbatim Store ’n’ Click, article 49307, is a 32 GB USB 3.2 Gen 1 flash drive whose connector slides out and clicks into position for use, then clicks back into the closed body afterwards. There is no cap. Verbatim publishes both speeds for it — up to 80 MB/s read and up to 25 MB/s write — and the drive measures 53 x 22 x 10 mm and weighs 9 g.
Compatibility — check before buying:
This is a USB Type-A drive, so it does not fit a phone or a USB-C-only laptop without an adapter, which is not supplied. ???? The Store n Click family is three adjacent article numbers and only one of them is a single drive. 49306 is a three-pack of 16 GB in red, blue and yellow. 49307, this one, is the single 32 GB in black. 49308 is a two-pack of 32 GB in red and blue. Order by number, not by the words “Store n Click 32GB” — that description fits both 49307 and 49308 and they are different purchases. Note also that Verbatim runs four separate current families whose names all begin “Store n …”: Store n Click (this one, a USB-A click slider), Store n Stay NANO (a USB-A stub that lives in the port), Store n Go USB-C (USB-C only, no USB-A end at all) and the Dual USB Drive. They are not variations of one product. Verbatim publishes no supplied file system for the Store n Click, so unlike its PinStripe drives we cannot tell you whether the FAT32 4 GB file-size limit applies.
Best For
✓ Everyday transport of documents, photographs and installers
✓ Anyone who has lost a cap and wants a slider that locks in place
✓ Buyers who want both read and write published rather than a single vague figure
✓ Machines and laptops with USB-A ports
✓ Boot, install and recovery media kept in a drawer
✓ A dependable second drive to keep a spare copy on
Key Features
Click out, click back
The connector extends and locks with an audible click, then clicks back into the closed position. It is a slider rather than a swivel or a push-button, and the lock is what stops it retracting under pressure in a port.
Both speeds published
Up to 80 MB/s read and up to 25 MB/s write, stated by Verbatim for this article. Several of its own lines — the Slider, the PinStripe, the Dual — publish nothing at all, so this is the transparent one.
53 x 22 x 10 mm, 9 g
A conventional full-size stick you can grip properly, rather than a stub you have to fish out of a port with a fingernail.
No cap to lose
Nothing detaches from the body at any point in the mechanism. On a drive that lives in a bag, that is the feature that decides whether it survives.

Singular Expert Insight
Of Verbatim’s current USB-A drives this is the one we would point at first, for a simple reason: it publishes both its speeds. The Slider, the PinStripe and the Dual all publish nothing, which makes them impossible to compare, while this one states 80 read and 25 write and the locking slider is genuinely better engineering than a plain one. At 32 GB it is a drive for installers, documents and boot media rather than a media library. The thing to get right is the article number, because two of its three neighbours are multipacks with the same name. Verbatim’s manufacturer term for Europe, the Middle East and Africa is two years, shorter than the five that Kingston, SanDisk, Transcend and Silicon Power publish across our USB flash drives range. For working from a drive rather than carrying files, an external SSD is the right class of product.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You want one 32 GB USB-A stick with a locking slider and no cap, and you value knowing the write speed as well as the read speed before you commit.
Skip it if
You wanted the multipack — that is 49308 for two 32 GB drives or 49306 for three 16 GB. Or you need a USB-C connector for a phone.
Also consider
Verbatim article 49308 if you want two 32 GB drives. Verbatim Metal Executive 99105 for the same 80/25 speeds in a tiny metal body with a key ring. A dual USB-A and USB-C drive if a phone is part of the plan.
