The Verbatim 43667 is a 25-disc spindle of DVD+R Double Layer 8.5 GB recordable discs rated at up to 8x, with a white inkjet-printable surface — for anyone who needs a professional, printed disc from an inkjet printer with a disc tray.
Each double-layer disc holds 8.5 GB on two recording layers — almost twice a standard DVD — and is written once at up to 8x. Verbatim specifies an AZO recording layer.
Before you order: double-layer discs need a writer that lists DVD+R DL (Double Layer) support. Most current DVD writers do, but check the drive model — a single-layer-only writer cannot burn them. Printing on the surface needs an inkjet printer with a CD/DVD tray or a disc publisher.

- Rewriting or erasing — these are DVD+R DL write-once discs, not DVD+RW.
- Burning in a single-layer-only DVD writer, or in any CD drive.
- Laser printers, and inkjet printers without a disc tray.
- Adhesive paper labels on discs burned at high speed — they can unbalance the disc; use direct printing or a disc marker.
- More than 8.5 GB on one disc — a 25 GB BD-R needs a Blu-ray writer.
- Laptops without an optical drive — most current models need an external USB DVD writer.
