Compatibility — check before buying:
This is a USB Type-A drive, so it does not fit a phone or a USB-C-only laptop without an adapter, which is not supplied. Why can I not copy a large video file onto it?
Because it ships formatted FAT32, which cannot hold a single file bigger than 4 GB regardless of free space. Reformat to exFAT and the limit disappears — exFAT is readable on both Windows and macOS. Reformatting erases the drive, so do it before you load anything on.
Is the 64 GB slower than the 128 GB?
No. Verbatim publishes 80 MB/s read and 25 MB/s write across the V3 range, so capacity buys you space rather than speed here. Choose the size you actually need.
What colour is it?
