Wantec 7227 Cat 6A UTP Patch Cable 0.25 m White
Extra-slim 2.8 mm Cat 6A UTP jumper for dense switch and patch-panel racks
Cat 6A UTP0.25 m500 MHzWhite
The Wantec 7227 is a 0.25 m white Cat 6A UTP RJ45 patch cable with an extra-slim 2.8 mm jacket and 500 MHz Cat 6A performance, made for very short jumpers between neighbouring switch and patch-panel ports in dense racks.
Wantec's extraslim family comes in blocks of lengths per colour; this 0.25 m white version is the classic 1U jumper length between a panel and the switch directly below it.
Part number 7227 (EAN 4250367772270). Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus.
Before you buy
Wantec publishes no AWG, jacket material or PoE rating for the extraslim line. Slim conductors have higher loss and heat up more under PoE than standard AWG 26 cords, so keep this cord for short data jumpers and use standard-gauge cable for long runs or high-power PoE.
Key Features
2.8 mm extra-slim jacket
Much thinner than a standard Cat 6A cord, so dense 24/48-port panels stay accessible and airflow is not blocked.
Cat 6A 500 MHz
Supports 10GBASE-T on short jumpers, so the patch will not limit a switch upgrade.
Colour-coded jumper lengths
Available in several colours and short lengths to separate VLANs, uplinks and services at a glance.

Singular Expert Insight
Extraslim jumpers like the 7227 are about rack hygiene: short, thin and colour-coded between patch panels and network switches. For anything longer or PoE-heavy, move to a standard-gauge Cat 6A cord.
Buyer's Guide
Buy it if
You patch adjacent panel and switch ports and want the thinnest possible 0.25 m jumper.
Skip it if
You need a published PoE rating, shielding, or long cable runs.
Also consider
equip 626x Cat 6A slim U/UTP (AWG 32/7, PoE/PoE+ rated) or a standard Cat 6A S/FTP cord.
