Wantec wantecWire Extra Slim Cat 6A Patch Cable 0.1 m Blue
Cat 6A0.1 m2.8 mm slimU/UTPRJ45
The Wantec 7239 is a 0.1 m blue wantecWire extra-slim Cat 6A U/UTP patch cable with a round 2.8 mm jacket, made for ultra-short jumpers between a patch panel and network switches mounted directly beneath it. Part number 7239 (EAN 4250367772393) is highly flexible, so even 48-port panels stay open for airflow and labelling. Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus.
Before you buy
At 10 cm this cord only works when the panel port and switch port are practically adjacent (typically a 1U panel directly above a 1U switch) — measure before ordering. It is unshielded (U/UTP), and Wantec publishes no AWG, bandwidth figure or PoE class for its extra-slim line; for heavy 802.3bt PoE loads choose a standard-diameter Cat 6A cord.
Key Features
2.8 mm extra-slim jacket
Roughly half the diameter of a standard Cat 6A cord — dense panels stay tidy and cable bundles do not block switch airflow.
10 cm jumper length
Purpose-made for 1U panel-to-switch patching, eliminating the slack loops that longer cords leave hanging in front of the rack.
Highly flexible
The thin round cable bends tightly without kinking, so it follows the short path between ports without straining the RJ45 latch.

Singular Expert Insight
Ten-centimetre slim jumpers are the neatest way to connect a 1U patch panel to the network switches directly below — no slack, no cable managers, and the 2.8 mm jacket leaves room between plugs for fingers and labels. Treat them as rack-internal cords only: unshielded and with no published PoE rating, they are not the cable for runs to cameras or access points.
Buyer's Guide
Buy it if
Your patch panel and switch are stacked directly on top of each other and you want the cleanest possible front-of-rack.
Skip it if
There is a cable manager or spare U between the ports, or you need shielded or 802.3bt-rated cords.
Also consider
Wantec extra-slim 0.2 m or 0.25 m versions for slightly more reach, or a shielded Cat 6A S/FTP cord for noisy environments.
