wantec 7311 wantecWire Extreme Slim Cat 6A UTP Patch Cable, 0.25 m, Black
Cat 6A UTPExtreme slim 2.8 mm0.25 m · BlackHighly flexible
The wantec 7311 is a 0.25 m black wantecWire extreme slim Cat 6A UTP patch cable with a round 2.8 mm, highly flexible jacket for tight switch-to-patch-panel jumpers. Part number 7311 is made for 1U panel links where standard 6 mm cords crowd the rack. Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus.
Compatibility note: wantec lists this cord as Cat 6A UTP, 2.8 mm, highly flexible, but does not publish conductor gauge, jacket compound, bandwidth test figure or a PoE rating. Extreme slim cords use thin conductors — keep them for short patching and use a standard-gauge copper Cat 6A cord for high-power PoE (802.3bt) or long runs.
Key Features
Extreme slim 2.8 mm
Round 2.8 mm jacket takes roughly half the space of a standard cord, keeping dense panels tidy and airflow unobstructed.
Highly flexible
The flexible jacket bends tightly around switch fronts and cable managers without stressing the RJ45 plugs.
Cat 6A category
Specified as Cat 6A UTP by wantec for short 10G-class patching between panel and switch.

Singular Expert Insight
For 1U panel-to-switch patching, 0.25 m slim cords are the neatest solution available — and colour coding (this one is black) makes VLANs or uplinks instantly recognisable. For PoE-heavy ports we prefer a published-rating cord such as equip slim Cat 6A. Pairs well with our network switches.
Buyer's Guide
Buy it if
You want very short, thin, colour-coded jumpers between a patch panel and a switch.
Skip it if
You need a published PoE rating or longer cable runs — pick a standard-gauge Cat 6A cord.
