WD My Passport 6TB Portable Hard Drive (Encrypted)
High-capacity portable storage with built-in 256-bit AES hardware encryption.
6 TB USB 3.2 Gen 1 256-bit AES Bus-Powered
The WD My Passport, part number WDBR9S0060BBK-WESN, is a 6TB 2.5-inch portable external hard drive with a USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface and built-in 256-bit AES hardware encryption, built for secure, high-capacity backups you can carry anywhere. It fits in the palm of your hand, is bus-powered over a single USB cable, and pairs with WD Backup, WD Security, WD Drive Utilities and WD Discovery software for automatic backups and password protection. Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus. It sits between the plain WD Elements, which has no encryption or software, and the desktop WD My Book, which offers even higher capacity but needs mains power and stays on your desk.

Singular Expert Insight
If you carry a lot of data and care about privacy, the My Passport is the sensible pick over a plain Elements drive — the built-in hardware encryption and password protection cost little extra and protect you if the drive is lost, and 6TB gives generous headroom for media libraries. Just treat the password as important: WD cannot recover encrypted data without it, so store it safely and keep a second backup of anything critical. Choose the desktop My Book instead when you want maximum capacity at the lowest cost per TB, or a portable SSD when transfer speed and drop-resistance matter more than price.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if You want high-capacity 6TB portable backup with password protection and 256-bit AES hardware encryption, plus WD software. | Skip it if You do not need encryption (Elements is cheaper), need SSD-class speed, or want the lowest cost per TB (My Book). | Also consider WD Elements for plain portable storage, WD My Book for desktop capacity, or a portable SSD for speed. |
