Wera 9640 Magnetic Rail 6003 Joker 1 — 11 slim combination wrenches 8–19 mm on a 370 mm magnetic rail
11 wrenches, 8–19 mm9610 magnetic rail, 30 x 370 mmSlim ring, cranked 15°Non-ratcheting Joker
The Wera 9640 Magnetic rail 6003 Joker 1 (part number 05020233001) is a set of eleven 6003 Joker combination wrenches covering 8 to 19 mm, supplied on the Wera 9610 Joker magnetic rail. The 6003 is the slim, non-ratcheting Joker: a fixed ring end cranked 15 degrees to the tool axis and an open end offset by 7.5 degrees, which with the double-hexagon geometry lets the wrench take the fastener every 15 degrees. The aluminium rail holds magnetically to a metal surface or can be bolted to a wall, so the whole size run stays visible. Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Wera’s English title calls these ring spanners, which is a loose rendering of the German Ringmaulschlüssel: they are combination wrenches with one ring end and one open end, not double-ring spanners. This is the non-ratcheting Joker — Wera reserves the ratchet, holding plate and limit stop for the 6000 and 6001 Joker lines, so do not expect them here. The eleven sizes are 8, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 and 19 mm, with no 9 mm. The 9610 rail is the carrier and is not counted in the eleven. Not insulated, not VDE-tested.
Best For
✓ Workshop walls and benches needing a visible size run
✓ Narrow installation spaces and shallow recesses
✓ Metric hex fasteners from 8 to 19 mm
✓ Plant and machinery maintenance
✓ Trades preferring conventional spanners over ratchets
✓ Toolboxes where loose spanners always scatter
Key Features
Eleven slim 6003 Joker wrenches
Sizes 8 x 115, 10 x 125, 11 x 135, 12 x 148, 13 x 160, 14 x 167, 15 x 174, 16 x 182, 17 x 190, 18 x 210 and 19 x 230 mm. The slim, cranked ring slides into recesses and past flanges that a bulky ratcheting ring cannot enter.
15 degree placement pitch at the open end
Wera states the low return angle in the open end takes the screw every 15 degrees, and that the 7.5 degree jaw offset combined with double-hexagon geometry doubles the placement points. A 180 degree turn of the wrench gives four placement possibilities.
9610 aluminium magnetic rail, 30 x 370 mm
The rail holds up to eleven spanners and sticks magnetically to a metal surface or bolts to a wall, with clamping clips retaining the tools. It is what stops a set like this dispersing into a toolbox drawer within a month.
Take it easy colour coding and corrosion protection
Each wrench is colour-coded by size so the right one comes off the rail at a glance, and Wera specifies a high-quality surface treatment for long-lasting corrosion protection on a set that lives out on a wall.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are these ring spanners or combination wrenches?
Combination wrenches. Wera’s English title says ring spanner set, but the German name is Ringmaulschlüssel-Satz and the single-tool datasheet calls each one a 6003 Joker combination wrench. Every wrench has a ring end at one end and an open end at the other.
Do these wrenches ratchet or hold the nut?
No. The 6003 Joker is the conventional, non-ratcheting line. The 80-tooth ratchet, the serrated holding plate in the jaw and the limit stop belong to the 6000 and 6001 Joker wrenches, which Wera names ratcheting combination wrenches.
How does this compare with the 9630 magnetic rail set?
Same idea, different wrench. The 9630 puts eleven ratcheting 6000 Joker wrenches on the rail; this 9640 puts eleven slim non-ratcheting 6003 Joker wrenches on it. Both cover 8 to 19 mm and skip 9 mm, so choose ratchet speed against a slimmer profile.
Is the magnetic rail counted in the eleven pieces?
No. The eleven are the wrenches; the 9610 Joker magnetic rail, 30 x 370 mm, is the carrier and is listed separately in Wera’s contents table. Note the numbering: the set is 9640 while the rail on its own is article 9610.
Singular Expert Insight
A wall rail changes how a spanner set behaves more than the spanners themselves do. Loose in a drawer, an eleven-piece run becomes a nine-piece run within a season; on a magnetic rail with colour coding you see the gap the moment one is missing. The choice between this 9640 and the ratcheting 9630 is the usual Joker decision: the 6003 is slimmer with a 15 degree cranked ring for recesses and flanges, the 6000 is faster with its 80-tooth ratchet and holds the nut in the jaw. Both stop at 19 mm and both skip 9 mm, so neither replaces a large-size set. Note the naming quirk too: the set is 9640, the rail alone is 9610. Browse our

Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You want a slim metric combination wrench run from 8 to 19 mm kept visible on a magnetic rail, for work in recesses where a ratcheting ring will not fit.
Skip it if
You want a ratcheting ring end or a jaw that holds the nut, you need 9 mm or sizes above 19 mm, or you need insulated VDE spanners.
