Bicycle Set 9 pairs the 8001 A Zyklop Mini 1 bit ratchet with nine stainless bits sized for bike hardware: Hex-Plus 2, 2.5, 3, 4, 5 and 6 mm, TORX TX 10 and TX 25, and a PH 2. The bits are stainless so a set carried in a saddlebag or a damp workshop does not corrode. The ratchet is drop-forged full steel with a 60-tooth mechanism and a 6° return angle, taking bits directly in a 1/4 inch hex socket, and it is rated well beyond the torque a bike fastener needs. Compatibility — check before buying:
The ratchet takes 1/4 inch hex bits directly and has no square drive, so sockets cannot be fitted without an adapter that is not included. Hex stops at 6 mm — there is no 8 mm, which crank and pedal hardware often needs. There is no PH 1, no TX 15, 20 or 30, and no slotted bit at all. The set has no torque function, so it must not be used to final-tighten carbon stems, bars or seatposts to a specified value. Not insulated, not impact-rated. The head is fixed — it does not pivot.
