Bit-Check 10 Impaktor 4 is the set to reach for when the driver is an impact wrench rather than a hand tool. Nine Impaktor DC bits — three PZ 2, one PZ 3, two TX 20, two TX 25 and one TX 30 — are joined by a 897/4 IMP stainless bit holder, 1/4 inch x 75 mm, which counts as the tenth piece. Impaktor geometry and material are tuned for the shock loads an impact driver delivers, and the DC diamond coating puts minute diamond particles on the tip so it bites into the recess instead of camming out. Two torsion zones in the holder plus one in the bit make up what Wera calls the TriTorsion system. Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Unlike BiTorsion bits, these are genuinely rated for impact drivers — but the set is Pozidriv and TORX only: no Phillips, no slotted, no hex and no square. TORX runs TX 20 to TX 30 and Pozidriv covers PZ 2 and PZ 3 only. There is no ratchet, no screwdriver handle, no square-drive adaptor and no sockets. Note that Wera’s English datasheet labels the 855/1 IMP DC bits “Phillips” — that is wrong, the 855 series is Pozidriv, as the German page confirms. The diamond grit will mark soft or decorative screw heads.

TriTorsion System
Two torsion zones in the 897/4 IMP holder and one in the bit itself absorb impulse peaks across three points, so the energy that would break a tip is taken up along the length of the tool.
Diamond Coating on the Tips
Minute diamond particles bonded to the tip grip the inside of the recess, cutting cam-out and the feed pressure you have to apply — which matters most when a driver is hammering rather than turning smoothly.
897/4 IMP Holder Included

Singular Expert Insight
The thing worth being clear about is that Impaktor and BiTorsion are not the same claim. A BiTorsion bit has a torsion zone and will still shear in an impact driver; an Impaktor bit is built for the hammering. If your driver is an impact wrench, this is the set, and the 897/4 IMP holder is half the reason — putting an Impaktor bit in an ordinary holder just moves the failure point. Check the profile range before ordering though: Pozidriv and TORX only, and nothing below PZ 2 or TX 20.
