Wera Bit-Check 10 Zyklop Mini BiTorsion 1 — Ratchet and 9 Bits
10 PiecesBiTorsion Bits8001 A Zyklop Mini Ratchet60 Teeth, 6° Return
This is the BiTorsion version of Wera’s compact Zyklop Mini kit: the same 8001 A bit ratchet and the same nine profiles as the standard set, but with BiTorsion bits whose elastic torsion zone absorbs load peaks before they reach the tip. The bits are Phillips PH 1 and PH 2, Pozidriv PZ 1 and PZ 2, TORX TX 15, TX 20 and TX 25, and Hex-Plus 4 and 5 mm, all 25 mm. The ratchet is drop-forged solid steel with a 60-tooth mechanism and a 6° return angle, taking bits directly in a 1/4 inch hex socket, and Wera rates it for torques above 65 Nm. The whole set is 160 g. Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus.
Compatibility — check before buying:
The contents are identical to the standard Bit-Check 10 Zyklop Mini 1 (05073645001) except for the bits: BiTorsion here, plain tough Z bits there. BiTorsion is a durability feature, not an impact rating — these still must not go in an impact driver, which needs the Impaktor range. The ratchet has a 1/4 inch hex bit socket and no square drive, so sockets need the separate Wera 870/1 adaptor, not included. Its only control is a simple reversing lever — no head lock, no pivoting head. There are no slotted bits at all, no square, no TX 10, 30 or 40, no PH 3 or PZ 3.
Best For
✓ Bag and glovebox toolkits
✓ Repetitive driving where bits shear
✓ Furniture and appliance assembly
✓ Confined spaces where a handle will not turn
Key Features
BiTorsion Bits Throughout
An elastic torsion zone behind each tip takes up the load peaks that would otherwise reach the tip, which is where bits break. That is the entire difference from the standard version of this set.
8001 A Zyklop Mini Bit Ratchet
Drop-forged solid steel with a 60-tooth mechanism and a 6° return angle, rated by Wera above 65 Nm. Bits fit straight into the 1/4 inch hex socket, and a knurled sleeve lets you spin a screw down.
Nine Bits Across Four Profiles
Phillips PH 1 and PH 2, Pozidriv PZ 1 and PZ 2, TORX TX 15, TX 20 and TX 25, and Hex-Plus 4 and 5 mm — the sizes met on furniture, appliances and machine covers.
Hex-Plus on the Hexagon Bits
The 840/1 BTZ bits use Hex-Plus geometry, driving from the flats of the socket rather than the corners — the difference between loosening a tight hex screw and rounding it out.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does it differ from the standard Bit-Check 10 Zyklop Mini 1?
Only the bits. Both sets have the same 8001 A ratchet and the same nine profiles and sizes. This one has BiTorsion bits with an elastic torsion zone; the standard set (05073645001) has plain tough Z bits.
Does BiTorsion mean I can use it in an impact driver?
No. BiTorsion absorbs load peaks in hand and drill driving. Impact drivers need the Impaktor range, such as the Bit-Check 10 Impaktor 4 (05057417001).
Are the 4 and 5 mm bits hex or slotted?
Hex. They are 840/1 BTZ Hex-Plus bits. Wera’s own set datasheet lists them as slotted in both English and German, which is an error — the component datasheets confirm Hex-Plus. There is no slotted bit in this set.
Can I use sockets with the ratchet?
Not as supplied. The 8001 A takes 1/4 inch hex bits directly and has no square drive. The separate Wera 870/1 adaptor is needed and is not in this set.
Singular Expert Insight
Between this and the standard Zyklop Mini kit the only question is how hard you drive. Identical ratchet, identical nine profiles — you are paying for the torsion zone, which is worth it if you are shearing bits and pointless if you are not. What both share is the real reason to own one: a 6° return angle finishes screws inside a cabinet that nothing else in the bag will reach. And neither drives sockets without the 870/1 adaptor, which is not in the box. Browse our

Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You want the compact Zyklop Mini ratchet kit and you break bits often enough that the BiTorsion torsion zone earns its price.
Skip it if
You drive with an impact driver, need to turn sockets, or want slotted bits and wider TORX coverage.
