Bit-Check 12 Diamond 1 is the compact diamond-coated assortment: eleven BiTorsion 25 mm bits — PH 1 and two PH 2, PZ 1 and two PZ 2, and TORX TX 10 through TX 30 — plus a 889/4/1 K Rapidaptor universal holder that counts as the twelfth piece. The BDC diamond coating bonds microscopic diamond particles to the tip so it bites into the screw recess, which cuts cam-out and the feed pressure needed to keep the bit seated. Behind each tip a BiTorsion zone absorbs load peaks instead of passing them to the tip, where bits break. The case stands upright on a bench so the set is always to hand. Compatibility — check before buying:
Profile coverage is Phillips, Pozidriv and TORX only — there are no slotted, hex, square, TORX PLUS or tamper-resistant bits, and no PH 3 or PZ 3. TORX runs TX 10 to TX 30. Because PH 2 and PZ 2 are doubled, the set covers nine distinct profiles, not eleven. These are not impact-driver bits — BiTorsion is a torsion zone for load peaks, not an impact rating. Nothing is insulated. The diamond grit is aggressive and will mark soft, plated or decorative screw heads.
