The 2067/6 TORX BO is the precision version of Wera’s security TORX set: six Kraftform Micro drivers in TX 7, 8, 9, 10, 15 and 20, each with a central bore that passes over the security pin standing in a tamper-resistant TORX recess. These are the sizes that hold consumer electronics, instruments and small equipment closed — deliberately chosen so an ordinary driver cannot open them. Every blade is 60 mm on a three-zone Kraftform Micro handle with a free-turning cap, so the palm stays still while the fingers spin, and a hexagonal anti-roll feature keeps the tool on the bench. Compatibility — check before buying:
These drive pin-in tamper-resistant TORX and ordinary TORX alike — but not the reverse: a plain TORX driver will not enter a BO screw. They are TORX only, not TORX PLUS, not IP and not TS. Size coverage is TX 7 to TX 20: nothing below TX 7 and nothing above TX 20, so for larger security TORX you need the full-size 367/6 set (05138250001, TX 10–40). Despite “for electronic applications” in the name they are not insulated and not VDE-approved. Micro handles mean low torque by design — not for high-torque or impact work.

Key Features
Bore Hole for Pin-In TORX
A central bore in each tip clears the security pin in a tamper-resistant recess. The same driver still turns ordinary TORX of the same size, so choosing the BO version costs nothing in everyday use.
Six Precision Sizes, TX 7 to TX 20
The security TORX sizes actually used on small equipment. Blades are 60 mm with a 3.0 mm shaft on TX 7 and TX 8 and 4.0 mm from TX 9 upward, so the smaller drivers reach into tighter recesses.
Three-Zone Kraftform Micro Handle
A precision zone at the tip, a power zone with soft inserts for torque, and a fast-turning zone under a free-running cap, so the driver can be spun with two fingers. Hexagonal anti-roll keeps it off the floor.

Security TORX exists to stop you opening something, which is why the useful move is owning the bore-hole version before you meet one — it drives ordinary TORX just as well, so there is no penalty for having it. On the micro sizes the free-turning cap matters more than it sounds: a TX 8 screw needs many turns and almost no torque, and spinning the driver with two fingers is far faster than re-gripping. Check the range before ordering, though: this set stops at TX 20, and equipment covers often use TX 25 upward.
