Kraftform Kompakt VDE 16 extra slim 1 replaces a rack of insulated screwdrivers with one 817 VDE handle and fourteen interchangeable 157 mm blades — Phillips, Pozidriv, PlusMinus PZ/S, TORX and slotted — plus a 247 single-pole phase tester. Most of the blades use Wera’s extra slim insulation, where the shaft diameter is reduced and the protective sleeve carried right down the blade, so a recessed terminal screw can be reached without the insulation fouling the cavity. Every insulated part is individually tested at 10,000 volts in a water bath and rated for work up to 1,000 volts AC. Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus.
Compatibility — check before buying:
The set has no torque function — do not confuse it with the similarly named Kraftform Kompakt VDE 16 Torque 1.2–3.0 Nm extra slim 1, which is a different article. The 247 phase tester is a single-pole indicator, not a two-pole voltage tester, and must not be your sole means of proving a circuit dead. Two blades (67 i TX 10 and 60 i 0.4 x 2.5) are the standard i insulation variant rather than iS, because shafts below about 3 mm cannot carry the slim sleeve. There are no hex, square or tamper-resistant blades in the set.

One Handle, Fourteen Blades
The 817 VDE Kraftform blade-holding handle takes every blade in the set, so a full profile range travels in a folding pouch instead of as fourteen separate screwdrivers. Note it takes Wera VDE blades, not 1/4 inch bits.
Extra Slim Insulation
On the iS blades the shaft is reduced in diameter and the insulation runs the length of the blade, so screws set deep in a recess can be reached and turned without the sleeve jamming against the cavity walls.
Individually Tested to IEC 60900
Every insulated piece is tested at 10,000 V in a water bath and approved for 1,000 V AC working voltage — a piece test, not a batch sample. Hexagonal anti-roll protection stops blades rolling off a board or a bench.

Blades are colour-coded by profile and laser-marked with the size, so the right one is picked out of the pouch by eye. The pouch is Wera 2go compatible and can be hung using the supplied hook-and-loop strip.
