The Wera Kraftform Kompakt Zyklop Speed (part number 05051045001) is a 26-piece set built around the 8000 A Zyklop Speed, a 1/4 inch square ratchet with 72 fine teeth, a 5 degree return angle and a head that pivots freely and locks at 0, 15 and 90 degrees left and right. Wera describes the handle as a gyrating mass design that accelerates screwdriving, reinforced by a free-turning sleeve. Compatibility — check before buying:
The ratchet has a 1/4 inch square drive, which is why the set includes the 8784 A1 bit adaptor to take 1/4 inch hex bits; sockets go on directly. Sockets are metric only, 5.5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 12 and 13 mm — note that Wera’s English product page drops the 8 mm from its list, while the article datasheet includes it. Wera’s datasheet also groups the 3, 4, 5 and 6 mm items under slotted; they are Hex-Plus hexagon bits, and only the 1 x 5.5 mm is genuinely slotted. The 8790 HMA sockets are for manual and non-impact powered use, never for an impact wrench. Not insulated, not VDE-tested.
