The Wera Tool-Check Combi 1 (part number 05049070001) is a 40-piece compact set built around the 8001 A Zyklop Mini 1 bit ratchet, a drop-forged 87 mm tool with 60 teeth and a 6 degree return angle. Around it sit twenty-eight bits including five tamper-resistant TORX BO, seven metric Zyklop sockets from 5.5 to 13 mm, a bit-holding screwdriver, a Rapidaptor holder, a square adaptor and a Knipex Cobra water pump plier. Compatibility — check before buying:
The ratchet takes 1/4 inch bits directly; the supplied 870/1 adaptor converts it to a 1/4 inch square so the Zyklop sockets and the screwdriver can drive them. Sockets are metric only: 5.5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 12 and 13 mm, so 9 and 11 mm are absent. Nothing in this set is insulated or VDE-tested, including the Knipex Cobra 87 01 125, which is the standard non-VDE version, so keep it away from live parts. The bits are BiTorsion types suitable for powered screwdriving, but the ratchet and the Zyklop sockets are hand tools and must not be fitted to an impact wrench.
