The Wera Tool-Check PLUS 2 (part number 05049056001) is the Robertson variant of Wera’s pocket bit-and-socket case. It is identical to the PLUS 1 in every respect but one: the five Pozidriv bits are replaced by five Square-Plus internal-square bits, number 1, three number 2 and number 3, the profile that dominates North American electrical and joinery fixings. Around them sit the 8001 A Zyklop Mini 1 ratchet, a 813 bit-holding screwdriver, twenty-eight bits including five tamper-resistant TORX BO, and seven metric Zyklop sockets. Compatibility — check before buying:
This is a profile variant, not an imperial one — the sockets are still metric 5.5 to 13 mm and the hex bits are still 3 to 8 mm. If you need inch sizes, the Tool-Check PLUS Imperial 1 is the separate article. There is no Pozidriv in this set at all, which matters in Europe where PZ dominates; choose PLUS 1 if you meet Pozidriv daily. The ratchet has a 1/4 inch hexagon bit drive and the 870/1 adaptor converts it for the sockets, which are manual and non-impact only. Nothing here is insulated or VDE-tested.

Five Square-Plus Robertson bits
868/1 Z internal-square bits in number 1, three number 2 and number 3. The square recess resists cam-out better than any cross head, which is why it is standard on North American electrical boxes, decking and cabinetry.
BiTorsion bits for powered driving
The Phillips, TORX, slotted and 3 to 6 mm hex bits use Wera’s BiTorsion design, whose softer torsion zone twists elastically under a torque spike so the peak never reaches the hard tip. Note the five TORX BO and the 8 mm hex are plain Z grade.
Ratchet plus a straight screwdriver
The 8001 A Zyklop Mini 1 gives 60 teeth and a 6 degree return angle in an 87 mm drop-forged body, and the 813 Kraftform screwdriver handles the light work and the final quarter-turn without tying up the ratchet.
Five TORX BO security bits and seven sockets
TX 10 to TX 30 bore-hole bits clear the securing pin in tamper-resistant TORX screws, and 8790 HMA Zyklop sockets cover 5.5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 12 and 13 mm in a rigid case with green locking components.

Robertson is one of those profiles that is either invisible or unavoidable depending on where the equipment came from. If you service imported machinery, North American electrical fittings or joinery hardware, a square recess is what you find, and no Pozidriv bit will drive it safely. That is the entire argument for PLUS 2 over PLUS 1, and it is a real one; what you must not do is buy it expecting an imperial set, because the sockets and hex bits are unchanged metric.
