The WKK 5431112 is a box of 900 insulated single bootlace ferrules in five sizes from 0.5 to 2.5 mm², for finishing stranded wire ends before they go into screw or spring terminals. Crimped ferrules stop fine strands from fraying or breaking in a terminal, give a secure, repeatable connection and make distribution boards, DIN-rail devices and smart modules easier to wire and inspect. Compatibility — check before buying:
The collars follow the Telemecanique colour code, not DIN — the same size has a different collar colour from DIN-coded ferrules. The DIN-coded version is WKK 5431312. A ferrule crimping tool is needed and not included. Match the ferrule size to the wire cross-section: a ferrule that is too large does not crimp tightly, one that is too small will not take all the strands. Not sure it fits your setup?
