WKK Universal Cable Ties 100 × 2.5 mm, Polyamide 6.6, Single-Use, 22 mm Bundle, 100-Pack, Brown

The WKK universal cable tie 11032171 is a 100 mm × 2.5 mm single-use tie in polyamide 6.6, sold in packs of 100 in brown, for tidying small bundles of data, power and signal cables indoors.

At 100 mm long it closes around a bundle of up to 22 mm and holds up to 8.1 kg of pull, which is the right size for patch cords behind a desk, the leads around a monitor or TV, cables inside a PC case or a small group of wires in a cabinet. The brown colour lets you code bundles by purpose — one colour per network segment, circuit or room — so the next person can find the right cable without tracing it end to end.

• A 22 mm bundle is roughly a dozen thin patch cords or a handful of power leads — for thicker trunks behind a rack use a longer tie.
• Single-use: the barb locks permanently. To re-route cables you cut the tie and fit a new one, which is why a pack of 100 lasts.
• Polyamide 6.6 stays usable from −40 °C to +85 °C, so ties inside a warm PC case or a closed cabinet are not a problem.
• Halogen-free and silicone-free, and flame rated UL 94 V-2 — acceptable inside office equipment and cabinets.
• Pull the tie snug, not crushing tight: over-tightening deforms the jacket of Cat6/Cat6A cables and can affect their performance.

• It cannot be opened and re-used — if you need to change the bundle often, a hook-and-loop (velcro) strap is the better choice.
• It is not UV-stabilised in this colour, so it is not suitable for outdoor masts, roofs or façades.
• It is too short for bundles thicker than 22 mm, such as a full 24-port patch panel trunk.
• It has no mounting hole or adhesive base — to fix a bundle to a wall or rack you need a tie mount or cable-management bar.
