Xerox 006R04394 Yellow Toner Cartridge — High Capacity, 2,500 Pages, for Xerox C230 and C235
Genuine Xerox toner2,500 pagesXerox C230 / C235High capacity
The Xerox 006R04394 is the genuine high-capacity yellow toner cartridge for the Xerox C230 colour printer and the C235 colour multifunction, rated for 2,500 pages to ISO/IEC 19798. It holds roughly two-thirds more toner than the standard yellow cartridge for the same machines, which makes it the better choice if you print colour regularly rather than occasionally. Order it by part number 006R04394. Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus.
Compatibility — check before buying:
This cartridge fits the Xerox C230 and C235 only — not the C310/C315, C320/C325 or C410/VersaLink C415, which use different cartridges despite sitting alongside the C230 in the Xerox range. The standard-capacity yellow for the same machines is 006R04386 at 1,500 pages, so check which one your existing cartridge is before ordering. Also remember the waste toner bottle 008R13326 is a separate consumable on this platform: when it fills, the machine stops printing regardless of how much toner remains.
Best For
✓ Xerox C230 or C235 users printing colour regularly
✓ Small offices producing marketing material, charts or photos
✓ Sites that would rather change cartridges less often
✓ Anyone stepping up from the 1,500-page standard yellow
Key Features
2,500 pages of yellow
Around 67% more than the 1,500-page standard cartridge for the same machines, which lowers the cost per colour page and cuts the number of cartridge changes.
Genuine Xerox colour consistency
Xerox controls the pigment and particle size so yellows stay consistent between cartridges — important if you print branded material where colour needs to match previous runs.
Accurate toner-level reporting
The genuine chip reports remaining toner properly, so the low-toner warning gives real notice rather than the machine stopping unexpectedly mid-job.
Matched to the C230 and C235 engine
Fusing temperature and transfer behaviour are tuned to this specific print engine, which is what keeps colour fills even and prevents the mottling that generic toner often causes here.

Singular Expert Insight
On a C230 or C235 the colours often outlive the black by a wide margin, so the question is whether you print enough colour to justify the high-capacity cartridge. If you produce any regular colour output — reports with charts, customer-facing documents, photos — the 2,500-page 006R04394 is the better buy; if colour is genuinely occasional, the 1,500-page 006R04386 avoids leaving toner unused when the cartridge ages out. Either way, keep a waste toner bottle 008R13326 on the shelf, because that is what actually stops these machines. Browse our Original Toner range for the matching cyan, magenta and black, or our Colour Laser Printers category if you are looking at a larger device with lower running costs.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You have a Xerox C230 or C235, print colour regularly, and want the larger genuine yellow cartridge for fewer changes and a lower cost per page.
Skip it if
You print colour only occasionally — the 1,500-page 006R04386 may suit better — or your machine is a C310, C315, C320, C325, C410 or VersaLink C415.
Also consider
