Xerox 013R00690 Genuine Drum Cartridge — B305 B310 and B315 Mono Printers (not toner)
Genuine Xerox partUp to 40,000 pagesB305 B310 and B315 Mono PrintersContains no toner
The Xerox 013R00690 is the genuine drum cartridge for the Xerox B305 and B315 mono multifunction printers and the B310 mono printer, rated by Xerox for up to 40,000 pages. It is the photoreceptor assembly that the laser writes onto — a separate consumable from the toner cartridge, and this part contains no toner. If your printer has simply run out of toner, this is not the part you need. Xerox lists it under part number 013R00690 as a routine maintenance item. Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Fits the Xerox B305 and B315 mono multifunction printers and the B310 mono printer. This is the drum cartridge, not toner. If you need toner, order 006R04376 standard capacity at 3,000 pages, 006R04377 high capacity at 8,000 pages, or 006R04378 extra high capacity at 20,000 pages instead. Note that Xerox uses the name «Imaging Unit» on its US pages and «Drum Cartridge» in Europe — both refer to part number 013R00690. Some reseller listings add the Xerox C315 to the compatibility list. Xerox does not — the C315 is a colour machine and uses different parts, so do not order this drum for one.
Key Features
A separate wear part from the toner
The drum and the toner cartridge are two distinct consumables with different lifespans. That keeps each toner refill cheaper, but it means the imaging unit eventually needs its own replacement — and no amount of fresh toner will fix a worn drum.
Rated for up to 40,000 pages
Xerox rates this unit at up to 40,000 pages, so it comes round far less often than toner. Against the 3,000-page standard toner cartridge that is more than a dozen toner changes per drum, and against the 20,000-page extra high capacity cartridge it is only two.
Fixes the faults toner cannot
Repeating marks at regular intervals down the page, grey background haze, or fading that a new toner cartridge did not cure are classic signs of a tired drum rather than low toner. Replacing the imaging unit is what actually resolves them.
Customer-fitted, no engineer needed
It is a Customer Replaceable Unit that slides out from the front of the machine, so no service visit or tools are required. Xerox also operates a supplies take-back and recycling programme for used units, although availability varies by region.

Singular Expert Insight
The B305 to B315 family is one of the better-value mono ranges Xerox sells, largely because the drum runs 40,000 pages and the toner goes up to 20,000. This is a current Xerox line, so a drum replacement is a sound investment rather than a stopgap on a machine near the end of its life. The separate drum is what keeps running costs low on this class of machine and also what confuses people: toner is the frequent purchase, the imaging unit is the occasional one, and they fix completely different symptoms. Order it alongside your genuine Xerox toner if the page count is high, and if the machine really is at the end of its life the current equivalents sit in our laser printers range. One thing to be honest about: on an entry-level machine a drum plus a full set of toner can approach the price of a new printer, so check the page count before committing to both.
Buyer's Guide
Buy it if
Your B305 B310 and B315 Mono Printers is showing repeating marks, background haze or fading that a new toner cartridge did not fix, or the machine is reporting that imaging-unit life is low. At up to 40,000 pages this is an occasional purchase rather than a routine one.
Skip it if
You have simply run out of toner — order 006R04376 standard capacity at 3,000 pages, 006R04377 high capacity at 8,000 pages, or 006R04378 extra high capacity at 20,000 pages instead, because this part contains no toner. Also skip it if your machine is not in the model list above.
Also consider
The black toner for the same printer, choosing the tier that matches your volume: 006R04376 at 3,000 pages, 006R04377 at 8,000, or 006R04378 at 20,000. On a machine that has already reached 40,000 pages the extra high capacity cartridge usually works out cheapest per page.
