Xerox 108R01124 Waste Cartridge · Up to 30,000 pages
Genuine XeroxUp to 30,000 pagesPhaser 6600 · WC 6605/6655 · VersaLink C400/C405Routine maintenance item
The Xerox VersaLink C40X / Phaser 6600 / WorkCentre 6605/6655 Waste Cartridge (108R01124) is the genuine waste cartridge that collects the excess toner left over during printing, rated by Xerox at up to 30,000 pages, for offices running the Xerox Phaser 6600, WorkCentre 6605, WorkCentre 6655 and VersaLink C400 and C405 colour printers.
It is shared by the older Phaser 6600 and WorkCentre 6605/6655 and the newer VersaLink C400 and C405, so one spare covers both generations. Xerox classes it as a routine maintenance item replaced by the user.
What's in the Box
- 1 x Xerox Waste Cartridge (108R01124)
- Manufacturer packaging; return and recycling information is supplied by Xerox where applicable
What It Means in Practice
- When the printer reports that the waste cartridge is nearly full, order this part so the replacement is on hand before the printer stops.
- Rated life is up to 30,000 pages. Real life depends on coverage, colour mix, calibration cycles and how often the machine is switched on and off, so heavy colour users replace it sooner.
- Replacement is a user task on the listed models: open the indicated cover, lift out the full container, seal it and slide the new one in. No technician visit is needed.
- A full waste cartridge cannot be emptied and reused. Xerox designs it as a sealed, single-use part, and reusing it risks spills inside the printer.
- Keep one spare per printer in busy offices, because the printer will not print until a full container has been replaced.
- Handle the full waste cartridge carefully: keep it upright, close any caps or seals supplied, and place it in the packaging of the new unit before disposal or return.
- Store the spare in its sealed packaging at normal office temperature, away from direct sunlight, until the printer asks for it.
What Will Not Work
- VersaLink C500, C505, C600 and C605, Phaser 6510 and WorkCentre 6515, which use the 108R01416.
- VersaLink C7000 series, which use the 115R00128 or 115R00129.
- It contains no toner: the toner cartridges are ordered separately.
- A full cartridge cannot be emptied and refitted.
Key Features
Genuine Xerox part
Made by Xerox for the listed printers, so it fits the slot exactly and the printer recognises the fill level correctly.
Rated up to 30,000 pages
Capacity published by Xerox: up to 30,000 pages. One container lasts through several toner changes on typical office volumes.
Clean handling
The container is designed to be removed and closed off without exposing toner, which keeps the office and the inside of the printer clean.
Planned maintenance
Because the printer warns before the container is full, you can schedule the swap together with toner orders and avoid unplanned downtime.

Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
The 108R01124 bridges two Xerox generations, so offices that replaced a Phaser 6600 with a VersaLink C400 can keep the same spare. Order when the printer first reports the waste cartridge nearly full. See the full Singular waste toner range if you run more than one model.
✓ Buy it if you run a Phaser 6600, WorkCentre 6605, 6655 or 6655i, or VersaLink C400 or C405.
