The Xiaomi Redmi A7 Pro (MZB0N5UEU) is an entry-level 4G Android smartphone with a 6.9-inch 120 Hz display, 4GB of memory and 64GB of storage, in Black. It runs a UNISOC T7250 chip, has a 6,000 mAh battery with 15 W charging, a dedicated microSD slot for cards up to 2 TB alongside two SIMs, a 3.5 mm headphone jack and FM radio. Xiaomi launched it in April 2026 with HyperOS 3 on Android 16 and commits in its EU product sheet to at least five years of updates — unusual at this price.
Compatibility — check before buying:
4G only, not 5G. It works on all Cypriot 4G networks, but there is a separate Redmi A7 Pro 5G sold in other markets — this is not it. No NFC: Xiaomi’s own FAQ states the Redmi A7 Pro does not support NFC, so it cannot pay contactlessly. No eSIM — two physical SIMs. 4GB is the real memory: the “up to 8GB” in Xiaomi’s marketing adds virtual memory taken from storage. No charger: Xiaomi’s EU pages list the phone, a USB-C cable and SIM tool; its EU product sheet says a protective cover ships in the box while the EU product pages do not list one — we will confirm on the unit.
