It brings together the BHM711 mono ear-hook earbud at 18 grams, the BHC71P powered charging case that adds 20 hours of talk time, the BT51-A USB-A Bluetooth dongle, and the BHB710 Workstation — a desk base with a three-inch colour touchscreen and control pad, a full-duplex speakerphone, a three-port USB 3.0 hub and a Qi wireless charging pad for a phone. The base connects to a desk phone, a computer and a mobile at the same time, so it is a desk hub rather than just a cradle.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Four BH71 bundles exist and they are easy to confuse. The plain BH71 ships a non-powered carrying case and no dongle. BH71 Pro adds the BT51-A dongle and the powered BHC71P case but has no base. BH71 Workstation has the base but neither the dongle nor the powered case. BH71 Workstation Pro — this article — is the only one with all four. The Qi pad on the base charges a phone, not the headset. The earbud charges in the BHC71P case; do not plan the desk around the pad. The earbud has no 3.5 mm socket and no wired mode, so if the requirement is to plug into an analog headset port, this is the wrong product.
